Users and Accounts

Make the most of our API by understanding these basic concepts.

Users and Accounts

Every time you try to perform an income verification request, Palenca will either create or use an existing User for you. A user represents a person. An Account on the other hand, represents a specific combination of username/password that this person has in a platform like Uber, Rappi, or IMSS (where there is no password required at the moment).

For example, in the picture below we illustrate a scenario where a user connects both his IMSS and Uber accounts with Palenca. Each one of these accounts will have different information you can use to make a lending decision regarding this user.

Logins

A Login represents a connection attempt from Palenca to one of the user's accounts. For example, an attempt we made to connect to Uber via the user's credentials.

This is an important entity to understand, and that's why we built an entire page for it. Check it out next.
